A life story
Who am I?
I’m a 77-year old man, at an age when one reflects on life, its ups and downs, the things I’ve learned, mistakes I’ve made, and mostly, gratitude for the multitude of good things that have befallen me.
What is this all about?
This website is an experiment in organizing my ideas, my art, and music.
Organizing doesn’t come naturally to me, so when I met Nosrat Tarighi, founder of DC Multimedia Productions, and he suggested that he could help me develop a website where my best ideas and my life could be organized for sharing with friends and strangers alike, I saw a chance to honor my parents and connect in a fresh way with others.
I needed an editor, and Nosrat, who has become my tech guru, editor, and friend, was uniquely prepared to help me see meaning in finally getting my act together! It is an evolving project that is designed to be honest, rooted in my interesting (at least to me!) past, and moving through this historic pandemic into the daily adventure that is the future.
Art & Music
Art and music are both important aspects of my life, both as practitioner and appreciator.
Painting and photography have both given me an outlet for artistic expression and creativity, while classical piano music that I studied through high school, provided a way to share emotions and beauty that are impossible to express in any other way.
Why Online?
The internet is an amazing resource for entertainment, education, and communication. As I dig through my writings, artwork, music, and life history, it presents an opportunity to finally pin down those things about my life that seem most meaningful—all of this in hopes that some of it may prove meaningful to those that find personal connections herein.
